This fallacy compares two things but without sufficient context or without taking all the factors into account. So an (illogical) argument could be, “being Forever Alone is like being in a toxic relationship”, and in some ways you could draw some (negative) parallels, but in other ways it is not the same. The main illogical part is that there is a positive form of being alone, but not of toxic relationships. Similarly one might compare unhappy single people with people in unhappy marriages, but there is variance and context and it’s illogical to make the comparison based on the unhappy emotion of two groups.
